When can our puppies come home with us?
Utah State Law ‘administrative regulation: UT ADC R58-1-13(3)’ states that no puppy or kitten under 8 weeks of age can be legally sold (or removed from their mother’s care. At Puppy Pals, we adhere to this regulation and allow puppies to go home after 8 weeks.
What do your puppies come home with?
Your puppy ‘pal’ will come with a care basket that contains the following:
- Supply of food so you can transition them to your food of choice
- All their appropriate paperwork
- Pedigree chart
- CKC registration papers for their specific litter (this is optional for your puppy, but recommended) and the cost is minimal.
- Father’s paperwork
- Mothers paperwork
- Any Medical Paperwork
- Medical Guarantee of current good health (taken at week 6)
- Documented best practices on caring for your puppy (will also be on this website)
- A blanket that has their mothers scent, so they feel safe as they transition to your home.
- Puppy toys that they will be familiar with
- Dog bowl to get them started
Do you require a down payment in order to pick a puppy?
Yes, to ensure you are serious and save your desired puppy, we will require a $500 down payment to hold your puppy. This helps pay for their vet visits, food, and any additional treatments the puppy may need.
What payment types do you accept?
We currently will accept Cash, Paypal, and Venmo only. If you are paying with a credit card, additional fees will apply.
